HRS Sanitary Hydraulic High Pressure Piston Pump
Zero Shear Rate ◊ High Viscosity ◊ High Pressure ◊ 99.9% Particle Identity
The development of the HRS Sanitary Hydraulic High Pressure Piston Pump is one of the most exciting advances in pumping technology to date. HRS developed this new pump for food processing applications where product integrity and consistency must be guaranteed to maintain both appearance and nutritional quality.
Reliable for quality
The HRS Piston Pump is a sanitary, double effect, positive displacement piston pump and is driven by a hydraulic cylinder is transferred to the sanitary pump’s shaft and piston. The assembly moves gently up and down transferring the product from the suction side to the discharge side through the check valves. A piston sanitary ring, installed in the pump piston, seals both chambers and moves smoothly within the polished pump body. A sanitary heavy duty lip seal is also installed in the upper pump chamber.
The reciprocating movement of the HRS Piston Pump causes minimum shear stress and does not damage particulated products, even at high pressures. This pump is ideal for applications where the finished quality of the product is very important.
Check valve type
Dependent upon the fluid properties, there are three types of check valves available, flapper, disc and actuated valves. The most common valve is the flapper check.
Features
The HRS Piston Pump can work vertically and horizontally. Standards models work vertically with suction diameters of 2, 3 and 4 inches, working pressures of up to 440 PSI and working temperature of up to 350ºF.
